🔎 What is a "pre-appointment"?

"Pre-authorization" can be considered the 2.0 version of the real-name authentication system for express parcels . Taiwan Customs stipulates that before each imported express parcel is cleared by customs, customs brokers must first obtain the recipient's real-name authorization before completing customs declaration. This system can effectively prevent personal information from being misused to declare illegal controlled goods for customs declaration, as well as ghost scams that may harm the public or customs brokers.

📝 How to use "Pre-appointment"?

STEP 1: Open the EZ WAY app → Select "Customs Real-Name Import Cargo Inquiry." If the customs broker declares an import package under your name, the pre-import information will be displayed on this page.

STEP 2: Click the house bill of lading number you wish to confirm.

STEP 3: If you confirm that the goods are yours, click "Conform to Declaration" to complete the order. The goods will be imported smoothly. If you do not respond or select "Inconsistent Declaration", the package will not be cleared for import.
